June 22nd- Making Your Mark: Art Journaling Exploration with Lisa Haskin
I'm so excited to offer a second session with Lisa! Her initial offering sold out so quickly that several folks missed out on being able to sign up.... I hope you can join us.
After a year of following Lisa's work and drooling over her pages, I've finally convinced Lisa that we want to have a play day! Join us for this half-day workshop as Lisa shares her approach for creating her own journals, mono-printing, layering techniques, and washes that take on a water-color vibe. Lisa will also discuss the pros and cons of paper, pens, and paint choices.
Lisa will also be sharing her lettering techniques and hints and tips for getting over the 'I hate my handwriting' blues.
You will explore the various kinds of journals, practices, and different ways Lisa has used these in her own art-making. Culminating in the creation of your own journal, get ready to experiment on the pages as Lisa guides your exploration.
Lisa is an independent graphic artist and was introduced to the world of art journaling by a dear friend. She's never looked back and sells her journals and artwork through various outlets.
Follow Lisa on all the usual social media platforms under the name Haskinesque.
