More About the Artists:
Lisa is an abstract mixed media artist and workshop instructor from Kansas City, Missouri.
Her background is an eclectic mixture of bright color, whimsical mark making and layered shapes. She works most often with acrylic paint, pastel crayons, charcoal marks and ink on canvas and paper. Unusual shapes and blocks of bright color are her inspiration and Lisa says that painting clears her head and acts as joy therapy to quiet her inner chatter. Finding art later in life has been a delightful surprise. Most recently Lisa has launched on line workshop courses. Sharing her art is her passion and seeing others find that passion is a dream come true.
Theresa is an Abstract Mixed Media Artist from Kansas City, MO. Theresa retired 6 years ago from teaching and re-started her art career much to her delight. Her approach to painting is loose, colorful and full of mixed media marks. She works on canvas and paper, ranging large to small. Theresa’s art passion shines through as she co-teaches abstract painting workshops, teaches one on one studio classes, and speaks to art groups about growing and finding your art voice.
